Today we went to Hunstanton for the day to try and makes the bestof the beautiful weather. We got there in about 2 and a half hours, which wasn't too bad.
Had a wander round, played some pirate mini golf (we won 1 game each, but my win was more impressive :P), and had standard beach food - donuts and fizzy pop.

Today I dyed my (now short) hair red, just using a box dye. It's pretty red, but I also think it will probably fade very quickly. I would love to have bright red hair all the time, but it's so difficult! I'm determined though.

A few days ago we went to B&Q and bought some lilies for the garden. They're the first plants I've ever bought and I feel strangly proud of them! We got these, some white ones, and some yellow ones. The colours are beautiful and really brighten up the, otherwise bleak, concrete garden.

We went out into Nottingham for Dave's birthday and I took a tiny inpractical bag with no room at all for a camera. Obviously it's a picture of Stu, looking like he's trying to strangle himself.

This isn't a great picture, but this is us at the back, waiting for The Prodigy! I was hoping to get some awesome pictures of them, but by the time they came on (12.30) I’d taken my bag back to the car as it weighed a ton and the place was crowded. I took a few camera phone pictures they were all very blurry and/or had hands in the way.
None the less, awesome gig. Especially since we got the tickets for free - Thanks Gordon!

We went on a road trip to Whitby today. Sunny weather, windows down, Reel Big Fish - it just doesn't get much better. We paddled, had ice cream and fish and chips (...although not together) and just generally had a lovely time in the sun.

I got my new phone today! A HTC TyTN II, and it is awesome. Tons of cool features on - and a much better contract. I normally hate ringing people, but I spoke to Orange and just asked them to match and improve a contract on O2, and they did it!

I've been trying to actually cook more things, rather than just putting stuff into the oven and reading the back of the packet, because it is so frickin' easy to do that. This is new potatoes in mint and butter, grilled turkey steaks, and fried green beans.

Since today was a bank holiday, I decided to get round to doing one of those ideas I keep putting to the back of my head. I ordered some flat back Swarovski beads, and had a play around with putting some on a memory stick.
I'm pretty pleased with my first go, I learned a few lessons, and ordered no where near enough beads! I've also decided that I want to cover my Guitar Hero guitar, so we'll see if this actually happens...
